I founded Kingfisher Painting Services with two basic philosophies.
The first is to do quality work and provide superior customer service through each phase of the job. As simple and possibly clichéd as that may sound, it is something not always easy to find in the painting industry. We are committed to this principle because we take personal pride in what we do, and because we believe that our business will succeed by adhering to it.
The second is to provide a positive, constructive environment for our employees; a workplace where they enjoy the work they do and the people they do it with, are compensated fairly, treated respectfully, and have the opportunity to be professionally trained as well as contribute their own ideas and experience. We believe that good companies are built around good people, and that happy people are productive people.
Kingfisher Painting employs 5 to 15 painters year round. Our core crew has over 100 years of combined experience in every facet of the painting industry. From condos and strata complexes to custom homes and commercial refits, from repaints to heritage restorations, we have the knowledge, experience, and capacity to take care of your needs. We carry $5,000,000 General Liability Insurance and full WCB coverage. We are proud of the quality and durability of the work we do and provide a 3 year warranty to back it up.
From working as a one man show to managing the daily operations and scheduling of one of Victoria’s largest painting contractors, in 30 years I have experienced every side of the painting business. The lessons I have learned are quite simple…..treat people and their property with respect and honesty, do the job right, and make sure everyone is happy at the end of the day.
